Terms of Service
Vydeo.ORG and Vydeo Clips are managed by Apache Web Services, a company in Dallas, Texas. These Terms govern use of the Vydeo website, app, API, and Chrome extension.
1. Acceptance
By accessing or using Vydeo, Vydeo.ORG, the Vydeo API, or the Vydeo Clips Chrome extension, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the services.
2. Service Description
Vydeo provides tools for organizing video references, timestamp clips, notes, tags, studios, teams, and projects. Vydeo Clips saves timestamp-based clips from YouTube videos. Vydeo Clips does not download videos, trim videos, export video files, or process video files.
3. Accounts and Security
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials, browser storage, and API tokens secure. You must provide accurate account information and promptly update it when needed. You are responsible for activity under your account and tokens.
4. Workspaces and Collaboration
Users may create or join studios and teams. If you accept a workspace invite, your account may be associated with the inviter's studio and team so both parties can work in the same workspace. Only share invites with people you intend to collaborate with.
5. User Content
You retain ownership of content you submit, including URLs, timestamps, titles, notes, tags, and project structures. You grant Vydeo the rights needed to host, store, display, process, transmit, and back up that content for operating the service. You are responsible for the legality and accuracy of your content.
6. YouTube and Third-Party Services
Vydeo Clips works with YouTube pages and timestamp links. YouTube videos remain hosted by YouTube or the original provider. Your use of YouTube, Google Chrome, the Chrome Web Store, payment processors, and other third-party services is also governed by those providers' terms and policies.
7. Prohibited Uses
You agree not to:
- Use Vydeo to violate laws, rights, contracts, or platform rules.
- Upload, save, or share unlawful, infringing, abusive, deceptive, or harmful content.
- Attempt to bypass authentication, permissions, subscriptions, usage limits, or security controls.
- Reverse engineer, scrape, overload, disrupt, or interfere with Vydeo or related systems.
- Misrepresent your identity, affiliation, or rights to content.
8. Paid Features
Some features, including publishing from Vydeo Clips to Vydeo.ORG, may require a valid premium account, subscription, or token. Fees, limits, renewals, cancellations, and access may be managed through the account or payment workflow shown at the time of purchase.
9. Extension Distribution
Vydeo Clips should be installed through the official Chrome Web Store listing. Vydeo.ORG does not offer public direct extension package downloads. Users who need premium publishing or team collaboration should create a Vydeo account and follow the official setup instructions.
10. No Professional Advice
Vydeo is a software tool. Content, clips, notes, and generated outputs are not legal, financial, medical, editorial, or professional advice.
11. Availability and Changes
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. We may update these Terms by posting a revised version on Vydeo.ORG. Continued use after updates means you accept the revised Terms.
12. Disclaimers
Vydeo is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent allowed by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, error-free operation, or that all third-party videos or embeds will remain available.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Apache Web Services and Vydeo will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, revenue, business, or goodwill arising from use of the services.
14. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access if we believe you violated these Terms, created risk, failed to pay required fees, or used the services in a harmful or unlawful way.
